The only difference between a happy and a sad person is the mindset, as per this blog. People who are happy create their intention to be happy and choose happiness over everything else. But this is something not the case with sad people. People who are happy choose healthier relationships. Having a great relationship with people is good and having a good relationship with oneself is the best. Happy people choose to be more giving as it makes them receive more than what they already have. Now, this doesn't mean going out of the way but connecting the act with generosity does all the trick. It is also important that to be happy one needs to take the decisions and then one doesn't end up questioning oneself. Practising mindfulness and patience is extremely important in such a scenario. The essential step that you can take is rewiring your brain to experience joy.
